Believing in its civilized role, Tanta University seeks willingly to advance its name among the universities of the Republic. It spares no efforts to upgrade the level of the local and regional community, in order to raise the stature of our dear homeland in various scientific, economic, and social aspects. In addition, it has a permanent contribution to scientific development in Egypt and the Arab and African countries as well. Thereupon, the idea of establishing Faculty of Applied Arts was considered, due to its developmental role in the field of industry, design, and marketing. The ministerial decree No. 2761 of 2018 was released to add Faculty of Applied Arts to the university faculties on December 27th, 2018.
