Faculty of Applied Arts Organizes a Symposium Titled, “Beginning of Good”


  Within the framework of the Presidential initiative, “New Beginning for Human Development”, Community Service and Environmental Development Department at Faculty of Applied Arts organized an awareness symposium titled, “Bedayet Khair” which means “Beginning of Good” on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, at 11:30 am in auditorium (1).
   The symposium was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Acting Tanta University President; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim, Faculty Dean
   It was lectured by Prof. Amal Abdel Sattar, Executive Manager for the Main Center for Public Social Services, who explained that the "Beginning of Good" program aims to invest in human capital through a comprehensive plan that includes education, health, culture, and sports, in addition to improving the quality of life and providing job opportunities. She emphasized that these efforts are part of Tanta University's strategic plan, aligning with Egypt's Vision 2030, adding that these efforts contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. She clarified that the initiative aims to motivate youth to achieve these goals and enhance human resources. She noted that "Beginning of Good" represents an important step toward empowering youth and enabling them to build a decent life and a better future.
