A Workshop Entitled "Administrative Transformation for Enhancing Institutional Performance and International Ranking"

In line with sustainable development goals and Egypt's vision 2030 updated by Ministry of Planning, Faculty of Applied Arts at Tanta University organized a workshop entitled "Administrative Transformation for Enhancing Institutional Performance and International Ranking".

   The workshop was attended by Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamed, Acting Dean of Faculty of Applied Arts at Tanta University; Prof. Maha Amer, Professor at Department of Textile Printing, Dyeing, and Finishing and Director of Information Technology Unit at the faculty; Dr. Mohamed El-Sheikh, Lecturer at Department of Spinning, Weaving, and Tricot, Governance Coordinator and Acting Manager of Quality Assurance Unit; and Dr. Ghada Abdel Mohsen, Lecturer at Department of Spinning, Weaving, and Tricot and International Ranking Officer at the faculty, as well as many academic staff members, their assistants, department managers, Secretary-General of the faculty, Manager of the Dean's Office, and administrative staff of the faculty.

    The workshop was lectured by Prof. Mohamed El-Sheshtawy Salem, Manager of International Ranking Unit at the university, to support the faculty in achieving the strategy of integrating management with sustainable development goals to enhance the university's position in international rankings.

    The workshop covered several key topics, including Egypt's vision 2030 updated by Ministry of Planning, the importance of various ranking indicators and standards, and the impact of institutional governance indicators on the university and its subordinate administrations to elevate the university's position in world rankings. It also highlighted the significance of developing and updating databases of students, academic staff members, their assistants, and all administrative sectors of the faculty, linking them to governance, financial, and administrative system, and achieving sustainable development goals of Egypt's vision 2030.
